Pupils in S1 & S2 study Level 2- 4 Mathematics as part of the Broad General Curriculum. Further information of the Mathematics and Numeracy Curriculum in Scotland can be found through Education Scotland

Homework

Pupils in S1 & 2 attend Mathematics four times a week and will be expected to complete nightly ‘finishing off’ homework in their class jotter. In addition formal homework will be issued through MS Teams to be completed in homework jotters and handed in. We request parents sign all homework to ensure they understand the standard pupils are working and can see regular teacher feedback.

Sumdog

S1 & S2 pupils will be issued with a login for the Sumdog website by their teacher. The link to Sumdog is on the right hand side. Regular practice on Sumdog can improve pupil attainment. The website is adaptive and will change the difficulty of questions and topics based on the questions answered to ensure all areas are covered.
